Placement Types define how short-term placements behave. They are similar to investment types but specifically for short-term deposits.
A placement type determines:
Duration (very short-term e.g., 7–30 days)
Interest calculation method
Minimum placement amount
Penalties for early withdrawal
Roll-over options
Default financial institution (if applicable)
To set up a placement type:
1. Click Add New.
2.Fill in all required configurations.
3. Submit.
