This section serves as the central hub for managing loan lifecycles and tracking application statuses.
Users with the necessary permissions can perform the following actions:
- Create a new loan
- Process a loan top-up
- Deactivate a loan
- View all applications; including those that have been reviewed or rejected
Initiating a Loan #
To create a new loan for a customer, users with the “Create Loan Application” permission can navigate to the Loan Module.
Once in the Loan Module, navigate to Loan Application from the sidebar. Then, click the Add New button located at the top right corner of the page.

On the Add New page, select Add New Application to proceed. A modal will appear with a text field where you can enter a Code, Phone Number, First Name, Email Address, or BVN.


If the customer already exists in the system, their information will automatically populate.
If the customer is not found, a button will appear allowing you to create a new customer in the CRM Module.

A short bio-data form is displayed first. All fields marked as required (*) must be completed. Upon submission, a three-page form is displayed.



Each page contains a set of required fields that must be completed before you can proceed to the next. Once all required information across the forms is provided, the loan application is ready for final action.
Final Submission Options
You will be presented with three options:
- Save as Draft: Saves the application so it can be completed at a later time.
- Submit Application: Submits the application to a team lead for review (only if this step is included in the workflow).
- Submit to Pool: Submits the application to the loan application pool for the underwriter’s review.

Select the option that best fits the intended action for the application.
If an application is submitted to a Team Lead for review, the Team Lead should:
1. Navigate to My Team Applications.
2. Review the submitted application.
3. Select one of the following actions:
a. Save Application as Draft
b. Update Application
c. Submit to Pool
Application Pool
When a loan application is sent to the application pool, users with permission to View All Loan Applications can navigate to it through the sidebar by clicking Pool under the Dashboard in the main section
Reviewing a Loan Application
Once a loan application has been claimed, users with the “Review Claimed Applications” permission can review it.
Deactivating a Loan
Only users with the “Deactivate Loan” permission can perform this action.
Any loan listed in the Loan Application section can be deactivated, provided the user has the appropriate access rights.
Steps to deactivate a loan:
- Navigate to the Loan Application section.
- Locate and select the loan you wish to deactivate.
- Click the yellow Action button to view the loan details.
- Select Deactivate from the available options.
- Enter your Transaction PIN to authorize the request.
- Click Send Deactivate Request.
Deactivation Approval Flow
Once a deactivation request has been submitted, users with the appropriate approval permissions can find the request under All Applications.
From there, they can review the request and take the necessary action to approve or reject it.
